Dear All,
We are hoping (praying!) to be able to fly to Japan beginning of July...
First few days we will have a rental car (Hokkaido region) then technically we will need 21 days pass (2 adults + 2 children)
The route will be as follow:
Narita -> Tokyo -> Hakone / Mt.Fuji -> Kyoto -> Osaka -> Nara -> Hiroshima -> Miyajima -> Kyoto -> Tokyo -> Narita.
Without the pass I think it comes to 1,500$ but we could take the super fast train ...
If I buy the JR Pass, Which regional one should I get? or I need the whole country one...?
JR Fare Calculator does NOT work...

JR Pass worth it?

Hi there,
We're in the process of loading new fares into the JR Fare Calculator it may take a couple of days, but please do check soon as we'll have it up and running again & updated for 2022!
As for the JR Pass, it would depend a little on how many days you spend in each city. A 14 day JR Pass would likely make the most sense if you could cover: Hakone / Mt.Fuji -> Kyoto -> Osaka -> Nara -> Hiroshima -> Miyajima -> Kyoto -> Tokyo -> Narita using it. You will be traveling through different regions, so a regional pass would not make sense, however you may find this guide on regional JR Passes useful.
Hope this helps :)
Daniel
