is it possible to exchange the Hokkaido rail pass at narita airport while transit?
We reserve the seat on jr east using hokkaido railpass, but its should be picked up 1 day before maximum at 21.00, while my flight arrive at new chitose airport at 19.35 and the jr counter at new chitose close at 19.00.
And the next day i have plan to wakkanai by train which the direc train is early morning 06.36.

Hi there,
The Hokkaido pass can only be activated at one of the exchange stations for this pass.
Narita Airport is not possible, as this is not a JR Hokkaido exchange option.
The office at either Sapporo station or Shin-Chitose will open at 8:30, so please exchange the pass there. If you can't change your plans, then I suggest buying normal rail tickets.
