Hi.we r 2 adult n 1 child..this is the 2nd time we r visiting Japan.
This is our travel plan
Tokyo -3 days
Nikko- 2 days
Nagoya - 4 days
Yokohama - 3 days
Kamakura - 1 day
Hakone- 1 day
Mt Fuji - 1 day
Kindly suggest which jr pass should we buy and what Shd be our travel itinerary..basically want to know the route we should be taking to visit these cities that helps us use the jr pass in best possible way..also Shd we buy a 7 day or 14 day pass..thanks

Hi there,
Most of your travel is near Tokyo and won't cost much compared to longer trips cross country. A 7 day JR Pass possibly good work if you want to take the Shinkansen to Nikko and Nagoya, as these are the most expensive trips but there are also budget options available.
For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
