My family (two adults, one 4 year old) will be travelling to Japan in December 2023.
Here is our itinerary:
6Dec arrive in Tokyo
8Dec Tokyo to Hakone
10Dec Hakone to Osaka
14Dec Osaka to Tokyo
17Dec leaving Japan
Should I get the JR Pass?

Hi there,
I checked and you could consider using a 7-day Japan Rail Pass for travel to Hakone, Osaka and back to Tokyo. The current cost of the 7-day JR Pass is similar in cost to a return ticket Tokyo - Osaka, and now you'll get unlimited travel for 7-day for the same price.
Which could come in useful elsewhere too :)
