My daughter and I will be arriving in Tokyo on June 4. We plan to go to Hiroshima on the the 8th. We will then travel to Kyoto on the the 12th and back to Tokyo on the 15 th of June. Should we get a 7day pass and then buy the one way back to Tokyo or get a 14 day pass? Thank you!

Hi there,
This is a bit of a difficult itinerary to match a JR Pass too. A 7 day JR Pass would have been perfect if you made the return Tokyo - Kyoto - Hiroshima - Tokyo within 7 days. As it is now, you are below the cost of a 14 day JR Pass. Will you do any other travel using the JR Pass? If not, then I would buy normal tickets.
