My wife and I bought a return ticket to Tokyo (Narita airport) from 13 to 23 April 2014. This is our first time to Japan. We need some help to plan our trip. We want to visit Kyoto as well. Should we buy 7 days JPR, also in Tokyo can we use JPR to Mount Fuji' China Town, Kannon Temple, Nakamise shopping street. Is the public transport can take us to most of the attractions. We want a relaxing trip, can you suggest our itinerary in this 10 days? We are a bit lost at the moment, if you can help that will be great. Thanks

need some suggestion
Hi there!
April is absolutely the best time to visit Japan, the weather is great and not a lot of rain. If you are lucky you may also see the last of the Cherry blossom.
What many travelers do when they first visit Japan is visit both Tokyo and Kyoto and make a day trip to a close by town or area. You could start with a couple of days in Tokyo, visit local places you wish to see and make a day trip to Yokohama and visit its China Town. Also Known as Motomachi, Chinatown in Yokohama is the biggest china town in Asia and well worth a visit.
You can also make a day trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji and visit the Fuji 5 lakes area for instance.
Then visit Kyoto for 3-4 days, you can also make a visit to either Nara or Osaka from Kyoto and make good use of the JR Pass at the same time.
Let me know if you have any specific interests, so I can give you some better recommendations.
