I am touring Japan and plan to travel from Hiroshima to mount fuji. My plan is to climb the mountain. I would like advice on how to travel from Hiroshima (with a JR Pass) to a station which will allow easy access for climbing mount Fuji.

Hi there,
I think the best approach would be to go to Gotemba station, you can use the JR Pass to go there (take the Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Mishima station, then local JR lines to Gotemba). From Gotemba, you can use local bus (not included in the JR Pass) to the Gotemba base and trail.
