Hi, My Parents and I Will visiting Japan April next year. We plan to purchase 7day JRPass and exchange it @narita airport terminal 2 but will not using it until our trip from kawaguchiko Station to Mishima station. I have some questions regarding that:
We are traveling to the following cities -
Day 1,2,3 will be in Tokyo after that We will take bus from Shinjuku to kawaguchiko Station (mt Fuji) spend a night in there, then using bus from kawaguchiko station to Mishima station in order to use shinkansen to Kyoto. Can we activate JR pass @Mishima Station?
After that spend 3 nights in Kyoto, then go to nara (for half day) after that spend 2 night in Osaka.. using JR Pass from Osaka go back to Tokyo again.. day 7 (the last day of JRpass activation) we’ll using that for a day trip to Hitachi Seaside Park from Tokyo..
can we use JR pass like this? Is it worth it? Thanks before :)
