we are landing into nrt to begin our trip and going straight to osaka (namba) for 9 days and then to tokyo for 10 days, any recomendations on how we should travel and if the jr pass would be recomended for us. our travel is scheduled for march

Hi there,
What do you want to do when you are in Osaka and Tokyo? Are you planning any day trips or will you stay within the cities?
Depending on that I can match a JR Pass to your trip. In case you stay within Osaka and Tokyo, then buying normal tickets may be the best option.
