Dear Sirs,

It´s my first time in Japan. I will arrive on Feb-27 at Narita Airport, and depart on March-07 from Haneda Airport.

I will basically stay most of the time in Tokyo sightseeing, but I would like to go to a skiing area near Tokyo city.

My questions are:
1) Which ticket or pass I should buy to walk around Tokyo city plus the train to the nearest skiing area?
2) What kind of transportations (train, buses, taxis, etc), this pass can be used?
3) Besides this pass, what kind of pass should I purchase? (Ex.: Suica card? Pasmo card? JR East?, Other?)

Thank you so much and looking for your explanation.

Best Regards,
Felicia

Hi Felicia,

1) Which ticket or pass I should buy to walk around Tokyo city plus the train to the nearest skiing area? It will depend on where you go. You could look at a Tokyo Wide Pass, just buying tickets or perhaps one of the other JR East passes.

  • 2) What kind of transportations (train, buses, taxis, etc), this pass can be used?* It will depend on what pass you decide to buy.

  • 3) Besides this pass, what kind of pass should I purchase? (Ex.: Suica card? Pasmo card? JR East?, Other?)* A Suica card could be useful for easy travel around Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
