Valid after getting pass delivered?

Hi there,

When you purchase one we will immediately send your order over to you. You will receive a physical copy of the exchange order of the pass, which you can choose to activate whenever you want once in Japan.

To do so, you can take the exchange order to a JR Ticket office or travel centre (both Narita and Haneda airport have them in the dedicated JR stations next to them, depending on where your flying into). You will then be asked to set an activation date, which can be set for that same day or for some point in the future. If you choose to set it for a future date, you can still begin making reservations using the pass for the day that it is active and after.
