You're the best!
Thank you for your prompt reply, reading the rest of this blog gives one more confidence in using the JR pass and visiting for the first time.
Is it better to join a tour group in Tokyo or is it easy going on your own with a JR PASS on hand.

Hi there!

Personally I think you can get the most out of Tokyo (and the rest of Japan) by exploring it yourself. I would however read up on how transportation works in the capital and which areas you would like to see,
