I will arrive in Tokyo on the 23rd of this month.
I have the JR Pass for 7 days.
Can I activate my JR Pass at the airport to start on the 28th and reserve a place on the Shinkansen train to go to Nikko early in the morning and to Nagano in the afternoon?
and June 1st from Kanazawa to Hiroshima?

Apologies for the late reply. Yes, you can do this - when activating the pass you'll be asked to give the activation date you want it to start for, and once you do this you can start making reservations in advance.
