I've just purchased a Green JRPASS. What is the procedure for seat reservation? Can I do this online in advance of our journeys the first of which will be on 10/4/60

Hi there,

You'll need to take the pass to an eligible exchange location (most major JR-operated stations) and then activate it or set an advance activation date there so that you can begin making reservations. If there will be a period of time before you start using the pass my suggestion would be to take the pass to an exchange location and set your activation date so that you can begin making reservations a few days in advance.
