Hi, I am planning to purchase a 14 day JRPass (Green Pass) in advance to travel on October 18, 2025 to Tokyo, Japan. I need to know if once the pass is purchased, I will be able to reserve seats before getting the pass at arrival. I will travel to Kanasawa from Tokio the same day I arrive to Japan and need to be confident that will get seats in advance or if at arrival I will be able to do so with no problem. Thanks!

Hi there,
Seat reservations can be made once you are in Japan and have the pass activated. We do not yet offer the option for online seat reservations.

Hi, I am going to travel to Kanasawa the same day I arrive to Tokyo. I plan to get a Green pass and need to know if I will be able to reserve first class seats that same date. Thank you for your assistance.

HI, Im planning a 14 days trip to Japan. I will Travel by train from Tokyo to Kanasawa then to Kyoto. From Kyoto ti Hiroshima and back to Kyoto. Then from Kyoto to Koyasan and then to Osaka. From Osaka to Hiroshima then back to Osaka then from Osaka to Himeji/Kobe back to Osaka, then from Osaka to Tokyo and 4 days in Tokyo moving around by train. Can you give me advice on what plan is best for me. Should I buy individual tickets or a JRPass is best a better option? Thank you!
