Hello! Good morning! May I ask what type of rail pass is appropriate for our stay in Japan from Jun 7th - 21st. Our itinerary is as follows:

Jun 7th: Arrival Narita Airport
Jun 7th: Head to Osaka in afternoon
Jun 8th: Explore Osaka
Jun 9th: Day trip to Osaka neighboring areas
Jun 10th: Day trip to Osaka neighboring areas
Jun 12th: Day trip to Kyoto
Jun 13th: Day trip to surrounding areas of Kyoto
Jun 14th: Day trip to surrounding areas of Kyoto
Jun 15th: Osaka to Tokyo
Jun 16th: Explore Tokyo
Jun 17th: Explore Tokyo
Jun 18th: Day Trip to Mount Fuji
Jun 19th -20th: Day Trip to Tokyo neighboring areas
Jun 21st: departure from Narita

I would be grateful for your guidance on what pass is most appropriate to travel via rail based on above itinerary.

Hi there,

Apologies for the late response. For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.
