id be in japan this month, and i have a free day to explore hiroshima.
ive read abt the japan sanyo shikoku kyushu pass
is it advisable to get this pass if i plan to visit hiroshima
ive read in some posts that the pass could be used for trains goins to miyajima as well as for the ferry ride?

A shinkansen return Osaka - Hiroshima will set you back around ¥ 19,500
A 4 day Sanyo Pass is ¥ 20,000 is this may be interesting if you would do more travel with it, It also covers the Ferry to Miyajima (which is ¥ 1,140 for a return from Hiroshima without the pass).
You may also be interested in the Nation wide JR Pass which is valid for 7 days and ¥ 28,300 which all together is a much better deal. You could even hit up Tokyo if you have an other free day!
