Hi!
Can we reserve train seats online before we arrive Nagoya? Since we will be arriving Nagoya from the Philippines around 6:50 pm and will be taking the next available train ( Hikari 536 leaving at 9:23pm) to Tokyo and we are worried that there wont be any seats available. Please advice. thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry, unfortunately you won't be able to reserve seats before you are in Japan.
Since it is a late train I don't think seats will be sold out. You can always line up for a non-reserved seat in the rare case they are sold out, even when these are full you will be allowed to stand and board the train.
