I going to Japan with my wife on March, and we are going to be using the trains, but, we realized there is this website jrpass.com and also jrailpass.com, both offers pretty much the same services and prices, but I'm still. confused if they are different providers or the same service, if buying from either one is the same thing, or if they are different or if one is better than the other, just trying to get my head around that.

Hi Kevin,
There are different channels that sell the JR Pass. While I can't comment on any one in particular, other than JRPass.com. I can tell you that we don't add any extra fees (payment fee, admin fee, booking fee etc) and shipping is only charged once per order, no matter how many passes you get.
We've also been operating for over 15 years, so you can buy with confidence, and you can always ask me for any help :)
