Hi
I bought the jr pass and i would like to make an Internet Reservations to the early train from Ngoya to Takayama at the 15/4/12 . How can i do it?
How can i use the jr passe to go from Takayama to Shirakawa-go at noon time and than at evening to go to Kanazawa? Is it possible to make Internet Reservations ?

Hi there,

You are unable to make an online reservation from Nagoya to Takayama currently. In general you can make your reservation at the station if you arrive 30 mins early - If you think your train will be busy I recommend you do this.

For Takayama to Shirakawago (and then to Kanazawa) you will have to take the Nohi bus from Takayama bus centre. Here's a [link to their timetable]. As this bus is not JR you will have to pay a charge to use this service. Please check the [Nohi bus website] for more information.

How can i know if the morning train from Nagoya to Takayama is free for me with the JR PASS? and the same for the train KANAZAWA - KYOTO 03:00 pm Apr/2012/17 Departure ?
