How many day pass is required ?

When planning your itinerary with for your JR Pass, it is good to keep in mind that the JR Pass is valid for a consecutive amount of days. In other words it can be used for 7, 14 or 21 days straight. Looking at your itinerary I do think that a 14 day JR Pass would offer good value.

You could cover your complete itinerary with it, including travel to and from the airport.

Here's an example of possible savings:

Narita Airport - Tokyo ¥ 3,220
Tokyo - Takayama ¥ 15,010
Takayama - Hiroshima ¥ 17,180
Hiroshima - Osaka ¥ 10,430
Osaka - Kyoto ¥ 560
Kyoto - Hakone (Odawara station) ¥ 12,280
Hakone - Yokohama ¥ 1,950
Yokohama - Narita Airport ¥ 3,840

For a total of ¥ 64,470 or ¥ 18,080 in savings as the 14 day JR Pass is ¥ 46,390.

When purchasing a JR pass is the best price available on the jrpass.com site ?

If purchasing pass from JR site do I have to pay the USD 25 delivery charge ?

Could I not collect same from Narita airport on my arrival ?
