Hi I will be leaving Hiroshima morning of January 2, 2016 to travel to Hakuba. We have purchased the JR Rail pass (green) and would like help with the trip. Ideally an early morning train arriving in Hakuba around mid day. Preference is for as few stops as possible as we will be travelling with snow ski gear.

Hi there,
It is quite a trip to make from Hiroshima to Hakuba. Here is an example itinerary for you. As you can see it takes quite a while, including transfers.
You could make a stop over at Osaka, Kyoto or Nagoya to break up travel time and stop for lunch.
