hopefully the last question from me. How do I book a place on Sunrise Seto?
I would like to use it on the way back to Tokyo on 8th September from Takamatsu to Tokyo.
Do I still have to book it although I want just the "basic bed" which is covered by the JR Pass?

Hi again!
It is hard to say, I can't see the current availability of the Sunrise express, so the best thing to do is to try and make a reservation the moment that you activate your JR Pass.
All ''seats/beds'' are reserved (since there's only a limited amount), so you will have to make the reservation beforehand.
