Hi,
When exchanging order for JR Pass, does the owner of the order have to do it themselves or can someone else do it for them, bringing the owner's order and passport?

When exchanging for a Japan Rail Pass, the owner has to exchange the order in person.

You have to show your passport as well - don't forget it at the hotel!
