Hi!

Me, my friend and my sister are going to Japan on apr 29. We're arriving on different airports. Me and my friend will arrive in haneda airport. And my sister will be arriving in narita on a later time (Her point of origin country is different from ours). We are planning to take the izumo sunset train from Tokyo on May 2. I'm hoping that there's still seats available. Can I activate my sister JR pass so I can book all 3 seats? I'll be purchasing all JR pass. I can get a copy of her passport.

Hi there,

Your sister's passport has to be there when you activate the JR Pass, this in order to check her eligibility and visa status. Once you have the JR Pass, then you only have to show it.
