we are finally coming to Japan !! in Dec 22
Itenary :
Tokyo - Kyoto (2 nights)
Kyoto - Kanazawa by Thunderbird Shinkasen ( 3 days )
Kanazawa - day trips to Takayama / Shirakawa-go / Toyama
Kanazawa - Tokyo by Hokuriku shinkansen
2 nights in Tokyo
my Question - Will a 7 day JR pass worth getting ?
As - Nozomi train (unable to use JR pass)
the other 2 - Thunderbird and Hokuriku shinkansen - will it be covered by JR pass ??
will appreciate if you can give your advice.

Hi there,
Will you return to Tokyo within the 7-day validity period of the JR Pass? Then it would be really worth it!
As you know, you can't use the Nozomi train service, but you can use the Hikari train service on the same route. The train is the same, but makes a couple more stops along the way. The Thunderbird and Hokuriku Shinkansen are also covered by the JR Pass.
