My wife and I are travelling 1st time to japan this April (3rd week) 5days only. And i wonder if it will be cheaper to purchase the JR pass or get the regional pass (tohoku pass) , online or upon arrival in Narita?
If i purchase the JR pass online, how will i receive/get the EXCHANGE ORDER?

Buying your pass ahead of time is always cheaper.
As for what pass to pick, this completely depends on where you plan to travel. I can give you a better answer, when you share your travel plans.
