Hokuriku Arch Pass

Hi there,

Tokyo to Gala Yuzawa will not be included in the Hokuriku Arch Pass as it goes past the Hokuriku Shinkansen designated area. You could visit Nagano, which would be included in the pass and will still have snow.

The pass must be taken to an exchange location (typically stations that are included in the valid area of the pass) and then activated at a ticket desk. After this you can begin making reservations in the same ticket desk(s). If you arrive in Japan and have a period of time before using the pass, I still recommend taking the pass to an exchange location and setting the activation date for whenever you need to use it so you can begin making reservations in advance.
