Which rail pass is best for this itinerary?

Hi

I'm coming to Japan in September 2019 for just over 2 weeks and this is my itinerary:

20 Sept - 23 Sept: Tokyo
23 Sept - 27 Sept: Kyoto
27 Sept - 30 Sept: Tokyo
30 Sept - 2 Oct: Nagoya
2 Oct - 6 Oct: Tokyo

Which rail pass would be the best for me to use? We will be exploring Tokyo (visiting Disney etc) as well during our stays in Tokyo.

Hi Danni,

Normal tickets would cost the following:
Tokyo - Kyoto ¥ 13,600
Kyoto - Tokyo ¥ 13,600
Tokyo - Nagoya ¥ 10,880
Nagoya - Tokyo ¥ 10,880

For a total of ¥ 48,960 vs the price of a 14-day JR Pass ¥ 46,900. Add local travel on JR lines as well, such as to Disneyland and I think the pass will be well worth it.
