What passes should I get?

I will travel Japan in March 2016 for 10days, but the day that I get narita airport at 430 I will go to Osaka straight, I also have checked the iternary at hyperdia

I'm just wondering the 7days jr pass will work for my iternary or what passes should I get would be the best?

Hi there,

Yes the JR Pass works for this route and is also the only pass that covers this route. So I do think that this would be the best option (given that you also use it to make the return to Tokyo).

And I also have one question, when we are going to Osaka do we need reserved seat? Or how is that work?
