Arriving Narita April 8 (have transportation to hotel in Tokyo already)
Tokyo Hilton - 3 nights leaving on April 11 to Miyajima
Miyajima - 2 nights April 11-13
Osaka - 3 nights April 13-16
Leaving Japan out of Narita to US
The total days in the country is 9. Will the JR pass be the best to get?
What would we buy to get around Tokyo for a few days?

Hi there,
Yes, a 7 day JR Pass would give you very good value compared to purchasing normal tickets if you can return to Tokyo/Narita before it expires.
Within Tokyo, it is fine to buy normal tickets or you can buy day passes for the Metro. These cost around 750yen for a day and allow for unlimited travel. They give good value if you use the Metro 4 times or more on a single day.
