I am searching for advice on the right type of pass to buy given the following itinerary
Sept 3 - Narita-Tokyo-Kanazawa
Sept 6 - Kanazawa-Nagano
Sept 10 - Nagano-Tokyo
Sept 13 - Tokyo-Narita
Hopefully you can provide some suggestions on options to use.

Hi there,
I was looking at options but no JR Pass matches your itinerary. Therefore I would suggest buying normal rail tickets. A 7 day JR Pass would have been great if used to return to Tokyo on Sept 9th but returning on sept 10th effectively means that you are travelling 8 days in this period. The other option would be to use a 14 day JR Pass here but normal tickets cost less.
