Hi, I am planning a trip with my son. We are arriving Oct. 30th, but the goal is to get to Universal Studios Japan on the 31st to the 2nd.
My question is:
Is it easier to get to Osaka from Tokyo or Narita airport. What area (neighborhood) can I catch the bullet to Osaka?

You can get on the Bullet train from Tokyo station. Rail travel from Narita airport - Osaka is pretty much always via Tokyo station, so you'll get to see both.
In general it's a very straight forward journey.
Narita Express --> Tokyo and from Tokyo the Bullet train --> Shin-Osaka. From Shin-Osaka you can use local trains to travel into Osaka city.
