Narita to Kyoto

Hi, if I get a 7 day JR Pass, is that all I need to get from Narita to Kyoto and back? What train would I need to take to get to my location? Thank you,.

Hi there,

Yes, the JR Pass covers all this travel (and more!). You can use the Narita Express between Tokyo and Narita Airport and the Haruka Shinkansen between Tokyo and Kyoto.

Thank you! Do I need to reserve seating or can I go get the ticket when I get there. My flights lands at 4pm and I don't know if there might be delays or how long its going to take to go through customs.
