We will be traveling to Japan next week. We will first be in Tokyo and then to Kyoto.
From Kyoto, we will be traveling to to Kanazawa for one night, then from Kanazawa to Hakone for one night. Can you please advise the best way to travel from Kyoto to Kanazawa to Hakone? Is this too much travel time for one night stays?

Hi there,
The best way from Kanazawa - Hakone using the JR Pass would be to take the Shinkansen to Tokyo station and from there use the Kodama Shinkansen to Odawara.
The route takes (178 Minutes) for Kanazawa - Tokyo and then from Tokyo - Odawara (36 minutes).
