i will be coming in thru Kansai International airport. what would be the best transportation to the city if we
1. decide to stay in kyoto or
2. decide on osaka

Hi there,
It would depend where exactly you are staying in each city.
As general advise, I would use the Haruka Express ticket for travel to Kyoto.
Or use the JR Airport Rapid express to Osaka this is around 1,200yen/one way.
