I'll be arriving Japan on march would like to seek some advice before I purchase the 7 days pass below is my itinerary trip. Do you think is that a must to purchase a 7 days pass?
Nagoyo 09th March to 11th March
Shirakawa go 10th March (Day trip)
Kyoto 11th March - 12th March
Hiroshima 12th March (One night stay)
Himeiji 13th March (Day trip)
Kobe 13th March (One night stay)
Osaka 14th March to 19th March

You will do a good amount of rail travel and could make good savings using a 7 day JR Pass. Especially the day trips and travel to Hiroshima is where you can save a lot of money.
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
