Will spending 11 days in Tokyo from the start of February. During this time I would like to take a number of day trips, ideally to Kyoto, Nara, Nagano, and Osaka. Ideally just spending the day at each place, do not mind leaving very early.
With this itinerary would the 7-day pass be worth it?

Certainly! Think of it this way, the JR Pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto using the Shinkansen. Any travel after that, basically is free :)
