Hi,
Just wondering if I should get a 14 day JR pass or a regional pass. I will be using the pass for 14 days to and from the airport into Tokyo, then maybe going to Kyoto and also maybe Osaka, but I have not yet confirmed places and want to be a little flexible if I want to change destination.
What is my best/cheapest option.

Hello Sarie,
It will all depend on where you will go and how much you will travel. If you want to flexibility, do go for a JR Pass either 7 or 14 days, as it is the only pass that covers the Tokaido Shinkansaen from Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka and will take you anywhere else where JR lines go in Japan.
