hello there.
I'm an excange student in tsukuba and a couple of friends are coming here for christmas.
I would like to ask a couple of questions about the seishun18 pass:
- where can I buy it here in tsukuba or nearby? - can I use as much trains as I want during the 5 days? - after the first 5 days are passed, can I buy it again? (for example 1st buy the 28th of December, 2nd buy 2nd of january) - is it possible to travel via local/express trains from tokyo to osaka using JR lines using the seishun18? thank you very much for your kind attention

I bought a JR pass without knowing that as an excange student I couldn't use it.
So I'm looking for a refund. How long is gonna take to have the money back?

Hi there!

The Seishun 18 Kippu can be purchased at any JR station. Just go to the ticket window and ask for a ticket! It's as simple as that. There's no limited to the amount of trains that you can use with the ticket but do remember that you can only use it for local trains and is not valid for other kinds of trains, such as the Shinkansen. There's no limit to the amount of Ticket you can buy during the days that it is valid.

You can use the Seishun 18 Kippu to travel between Tokyo and Osaka - however it can be quite an adventure as the trip takes about about 10 hours and involves a good amount of transfers. So prepare carefully.

As for the JR Pass refund, please send us a mail at [email protected] with your order information and so we can process the refund for you.
