My wife & I have purchased a 21 day Green JR. PASS. We arrive at Narita Int. airport
from Hong Kong on the 10 April 2018 at 14:30 hrs. We return to Hong Kong from
Narita INT. on 02 May 2018 @ 15:40.

We have already made our hotel bookings in Tokyo from 10 th April to the 14 th April. From
the 14th April until the 27 th April we would like to visit Hokkaido, as well as Kyushu.

We are going to be staying in Kyoto from 27 April to the 02nd May. On the 2nd May we would like
to depart from Kyoto for Narita Int. Airport to be in time for our Int. flight departing at 15:40.

Could you please suggest an itinerary? Since we will be using our JR Pass we would like to activate it
on the 12 April 18 so that we can use it on the 02nd May 18 for our return from Kyoto to Narita Int.
Airport.

Hi Ballabh Maliah,

Hokkaido and Kyushu are almost a whole country apart and traveling from one to the other takes a good amount of time. As such I would either plan in some stops in between or fly one way between them.

Since you start in Tokyo, I'd go up to Hokkaido first for 3-4 days. You could for instance visit Hakodate, Sapporo, Otaru and Furano. Then make your way down again, stopping at cities like Sendai, Yokohama and Hiroshima before going down to Kyushu. Taking about 3 days to go down. Within Kyushu you'd then have 3-4 days before going to Kyoto.
