MIYAJIMA AND HIROSHIMA

I am going to be in Kyoto and wanted to visit Miyajima and Hiroshima. Is it doable together as a day trip, and if so should I do Miyajima first with a ferry ride to Hiroshima or vice versa?

Hi there,

Yes, it is possible but you will send a couple of hours on the train each way.

I recommend visiting Hiroshima first and then Miyajima. Some of the tourist spots in Hiroshima close around 5 pm, while you can still linger around Miyajima after that time, besides seeing the sunset at Itsukushima Tori gate is amazing!
