I' m planning a trip in japan in a few weeks and i would like to know , if JRP is good for me or not !
Thats my trip plans:
26/05 arriving tokio x 3 nights
27 Tokyo
28 Tokyo
29 Tokyo - transfer to Kyoto x 3 nights
30 Kyoto
31 Kyoto
1/06 Kyoto - transfer to Osaka x 3 nights
2 Osaka
3 Osaka
4 Osaka - returning to Tokyo x 4 nights
5 Tokyo
6 Tokyo
7 Tokyo
8 Tokyo - departing to europe

Hi there,
I think that it may be worth to consider a 7 day JR Pass for your travel Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Tokyo. The 7 day JR Pass is about the same cost as normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka on the Shinkansen. Only now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price. You can use the JR Pass as well for travel between Kyoto and Osaka and also for travel within Osaka itself on the JR Network.
