Middle Names

Hi,

I just ordered a Rail Pass. The online form did not ask for a "Middle Name", so I instrinctively only filled in my first name.

However, I realize now that on my passport I have three names listed (in this country we actually have not one but two Middle Names, and as it happens we rarely - if ever - use those Middle Names on forms). In other words my passport has three consecutive names listed in the category "Given Names".

Could you tell me whether this will be a problem while using the Rail Pass?

You should be fine. Anecdotally, I know this sometimes happens and I've never heard of it causing a problem.

However, if you would like to be sure and you placed your order with jrpass.com, contact our support team at: [email protected] with your order reference number and they will be able to amend your order.

Hi，

I have the same problem. Even when you said the middle name is not required on the JR exchange ticket, how come the travel agent asked me to do exact the same name showing on the passport?
