I haven’t activated my JR Pass yet, but I’ve already used the pass number to reserve some train seats. Now I’m considering changing the activation date to one day earlier.
Is it possible to change the activation date of my JR Pass? If I do so, will the train seat reservations I made be canceled?

Hi there,
If you haven't set your activation date already then you can just do it a day earlier - don't worry, you choose when to set the activation date when you exchange the pass. If your seat reservations are still in the same timeframe that the pass will be activated in, then they shouldn't be cancelled, although I am unsure as I don't know how you've made reservations without having exchanged the pass already.
