Hi,
I ordered 14 days JR pass and I'm planing to be in Japan from 5th December to 20th December this year. Since is actually 15 days I have to travel on regular tickets the first day when I arrive and activate JR pass on 6th of December. But if I activate it on 6th December at 12.00 o'clock is it valid to 19th December at 23.59? Or 20th December ?
any help much appreciated

Your JRPass is valid for 14days including the day you activated it and it is valid until 23.59 on the last day.
In your case if you activated it on the 6th of December it will be valid until the 19th December 23.59.
