My wife and I will be at Japan from 3rd April - 9 April. We have purchased a 7 day JR pass. We land at Narita at 4pm and intend to travel directly to Kyoto until 6 Apr and come back to Tokyo till 9th Apr.
My questions:
- How do I get from Narita to Kyoto by train? I tried to search from Hyperdia: bit.ly/22Nl8w9 (Is this the best route?)
- Am I able to reserve the tickets now online? Not sure how JR pass works.
- Would you suggest a short stopover (half a day) in between Kyoto and Tokyo and what might be good?
