Hello!

I am travelling to Japan next year Jan, during winter. Arriving Japan at Kansai Airport, and departure from Narita's. Spending 14 days here in Japan, and planned to travel as follow: Osaka- Kyoto- Nara- Mt Fuji- Tokyo- Disneyland.

(1) Is Disneyland available during winter time? Or is there any risk of going Disneyland during this time? (2) Is Japan Rail Pass worth for my travel plans? And does it cover all of the place above as well?

(3) Is there any other small cities worthwhile to visit other than the 'tourist places'? Or any experiences I should go for it? (Performances/ Exhibitions etc) Would like to give it a try! (Understand that it may be a lot, but is there any website to check on?)

Hi there,

1.) Yes, it is open.

2.) The JR Pass value would depend on your other travel. From what airport would you depart in Japan?

3.) My first thoughts are either Naoshima and Onomichi. You'd need to make some arrangements though, to get there.

I'll arrive at Japan Kansai airport, and leaving Japan at Narita's airport. It's a one way trip

If you would make a one way trip, then it will likely be cheapest to buy the rail tickets as you travel.
