Hi, I arrived on 30 March and departing 6 April. I have 8 days of travel arriving and departing in Japan. But the JR Pass is only for 7 days. Somewhere else I read that I might get 2 days extra to travel on the JR Pass. Is that correct? If that is correct can I use the JR Pass from Osaka Airport to the hotel and leaving Japan on the 6 April for the return?

Hi there!
The JR Pass can't be extended and is limited to a 7, 14 or 21 day period. Travel from the Airport to Osaka is not expansive in any event, so I'd recommend buying normal tickets for your return to the Airport and use the JR Pass for your more expansive travel.
