I will be travelling to Japan from 15 Dec - 27 Dec 2016. The itiniery is below:
15 Dec arriving from Haneda to Shinjuku
15-20 Dec exploring Tokyo incl. Mt.Fuji
20-23 Dec Tokyo-Osaka
23-25 Dec Osaka-Kyoto
25-27 Dec Kyoto-Tokyo
27 Dec Tokyo-Haneda
My questions, should i buy the jr pass in advance? If yes, should i buy the7 day or 14 days pass?
Can i buy jr pass in Tokyo?

Hi there,

You can only buy the JR Pass outside of Japan, you can place an order online here.

As for your itinerary, a 7 day JR Pass would be useful but only if you can make the return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka within 7 days. Otherwise it would be better to buy normal rail tickets.
